To say that Scrapper Blackwell (1903-1962) was a remarkable guitarist
is an understatement. I never heard anyone play the guitar like he did.
Listen to him playing this blues classic on Mr. Scrapper's Blues (1962),
and hear what he did with this scheme.
Do you thinks it sounds quite a lot like Eric Clapton on Unplugged
(1992)? Not a bad word about Eric!
I arranged the text myself from Blackwell and the original by
Jimmy Cox, as I cannot understand all of what Mr. Scrapper sings. If
anyone can wtite down Blackwell's lyrics, please let me know.
